         <description><![CDATA[<p>Social skills</p><p>-sharing with others</p><p>Having the students practice sharing can help them understand why we share with others and the importance of it.</p><p>-conversations</p><p>Having conversations with the students can really help them with talking to people and carry a conversation longer than one or two phrases.</p><p>-Giving positive feedback</p><p>Telling the students positive feedback when they talk gives them confidence in themselves and lets them know they are doing a good job.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Emotional skills/strategies</p><p>-teach emotions</p><p>Going over all the types of emotions with the students helps them understand what each one is and why they do it.</p><p>-Have a clam down corner </p><p>In a classroom having a clam down cover helps students regulate their emotions and clam down without anyone bothering them.</p><p>-timers</p><p>Having a timer lets students know that there is only so much time before they need to stop what they are doing like being upset or angry and get back to work or play. </p>]]></description>

Making something different every week will help a lot.</p><p>-hygiene</p><p>Teaching the students how to take care of their bodies like brushing teeth and taking a shower is something that they can use for their whole lives. </p><p>-Money</p><p>Teaching the students about money and how it works can help them when they want to buy something. Buying things at the school's student store is a great way to help them with money.</p>]]></description>

Then have them decide what they want to do for fun in class.</p><p>-leisure and recreation</p><p>Teach the students how to relax and have fun by encouraging them to participate in sports and go to places like the zoo.</p><p>-safety</p><p>Having the students learn about safety is a huge skills to know. Teach them how to protect themselves and the ones they love through basic information on safety.</p>]]></description>
