Thank you so much for the entire semester! I can't believe it's over. On the first day of our class, I was thinking of quitting lawschool. I had my withdrawal form ready and I was supposed to ask you to sign. However, I was touched when you spoke to us that I even got teary-eyed because I was reminded of my "Why." So thank you, Sir Garcia. Thank you for inspiring me to continue. Whatever happens, I know that the wisdom I got from you is something that no exam can measure, but of course, I hope that I don't fail your class hahaha. I hope that when we see each other in the future, I can make you proud that I was once your student, because I am very proud to have you as my professor. What I encountered was entirely different from their descriptions, hence their statement is inadmissible, objectionable and this objection shall be sustained. I am grateful for your fairness and for joining us in our extracurricular activities, such as our food trips. Three years later po, God answered my prayer when you became our professor in evidence. Thank you Sir for giving me that life-changing opportunity to pass the oral exam and study here in PUP. I wouldn’t be able to make it to the roll of successful examinees in the 2021 CPALE were it not for the motivation that you instilled in me. I wouldn’t surpass every semester were it not for that motivation. 

Also, thank you po Sir for always attending our class. I really appreciate those times when you still choose to conduct class even when your daughter is sick or when your back aches or when you are tired from work. You inspired me Sir to give my best in everything that I do. I may not be the best student in class, but I can proudly say that “I had the best professor in PUP and that is none other than you, Sir.”

Friday pa lang po, kinakabahan na ako para sa klase next week. But I did not intend it in a negative way. Maybe if I were in my earlier years in law school, I will take it as a disadvantage having you as my professor, and will just complain. But now that I am in my 3rd year in law school, I am really and genuinely full of gratitude. You taught us to be brave, to be prepared for the actual practice facing our future. I can really see myself thanking you for the next few years of my life. And that is because I was a student of Fiscal Garcia. I can face my fears with more dedication to the profession. This class been one of the most fruitful class for me as I was really able to digest a lot of the concepts which have been discussed. Honestly, if it weren't for your proper guidance Sir, I really would not be able to gain anything substantial. I've read different books on evidence and a lot of the concepts there made me think that I do understand it but once I come to class, I realized that how I interpreted it is very different from what was intended which is why the application of the law is sometimes hard for me to explain. I really gained a lot from this class and I was very engaged as well because you made this class very fun for me even though most of the time I am quite absent-minded as I kept questioning what I have read in preparation for the class. Nahirapan po talaga ako sa mga librong binasa ko. Ang dami ko po talaga natutunan this semester.

Beyond your academic support, you fostered a classroom atmosphere that was both welcoming and stimulating. Your approachability and genuine care for your students made it easy for us to understand everything kahit most of the time aminado po akong may pagkalutang ako. It is rare to find a professor who can make a subject both rigorous and enjoyable, and you have done just that. Kabado po ako sa class every time but at the same time, masaya po talaga ako.

As a former student of yours, I can attest that there is something different with you this semester. "Mas-maaliwalas po kayo this semester". Mas magaan po yung class. Mas naging open po kayo sa students niyo. Despite of this changes, one thing remains constant. You never deprived of your student the highest quality of education they deserved. You teach not only for purposes of passing the bar but also to become an effective and worthy administrators of justice.

Sir, I hoped you also shared your story on how prosecutors do not only prosecute, they administer justice both for the offended and the offending party. This story pertains to the "Yaya who was criminally charged by their employer for "abandoning" their child". You utilized "evidence on collateral matters". This story of yours became my yard stick on how to administer justice without abandoning your client's cause.

Fiscal, I hope that Bathala would grant you more healthy years. You are one of the pillars of PUP College of law.

It was such a privilege to become your student. I wouldn't learn evidence in an unconventional way if it weren't for your expertise and knowledge of the course subject. I really appreciate po yung pagpasok niyo every meeting kahit na busy po kayo, it really just shows how passionate you are at teaching. Aminado po ako na minsan sobrang busy sa work and sa ibang subjects sa law school na nacocompromise yung studies and I had thoughts not to come to one of our classes pero sumasagi lagi sa isip ko na si fiscal nga laging pumapasok kahit na busy siya.

Indeed, your visible presence and those acts of yours every meeting made a huge impact on me, Sir. It taught me a lesson na "I just need to show up" kahit na hindi ko natapos yung coverage ng reading assignments or hindi ako ready sa recit.

Thank you for imparting us not only your valuable knowledge sa evidence but also life lessons we will forever cherish.
