Susan B Anthony was inspired from a early age that everyone was equal under god. She continued having that belife throughout her life, and many of her 7 brothers and sisters became activist. She eventually became a abolition actvist. Abolitionists often spoke against slavery and were some of the first people to do it. 1848 the first women's rights convention was held in the United States of America. Although Susan B Anthony didn't attend she did met Elizabeth Cady Stanton in 1851. They ended up forming  the National Women Suffrage Association to push for women to have the right to vote. Sadly Susan B Anthony was arrested in 1872 and she has fined 100$. Her arrest brought lots of publicity to this issue of women not being able to vote. 1876 she lead a protest and gave her famous "Women's Rights to the Suffrage" speech. Her beliefs forever affect America for the better. Because of Susan B Anthony women have more rights than they did back when she was alive.
