As an future educator constructing an effective professional Development allows myself to identity the areas of growth within my classroom practice. My goal is to create an inclusive environment for students to feel safe and learn comfortability. With a associates in Elementary Education and Bachelor in Clinical Psychology building a relationship with your students is important when distinguishing different learning styles amongst children groups. By setting goals and objectives I can work towards acquiring new ideas which I can implement in my own classroom.

I would like to host Game nights and Professional Development Activities amongst staff. Connecting with other educators gaining new ideas foster a supportive group within the community allows for more creative ideas to flow naturally.

I plan to put up flyers around the building and pass around the ideas to other staff to promote the activities. The game nights can take place during lunch or small time after school. Within the activites we will open the floor to multiple ideas regarding improvement are lesson planning while also having a little fun!

Engaging in the classroom experience along side a teacher will allow myself to develop more ideas and work with students one on one catering gaining teaching experience. Implementing arts into the lesson plans can also be benefical for student engagement and experience within arts.
