Reading- ELAGSE1RL3: Describe characters, settings and major events in a story, using key details.

Lesson summarizer - assign each students a character, setting or event to describe and share.

Math- 1. NR. 1.2 : Explain that the two digits of a two digit number represent the amounts of tens and ones.

Ticket out the door - assign students a number and have them show groups of tens and then left overs.

Social Studies- SS5CG1 - Explain how a citizens rights are protected under the constitution.

Students will be asked to summarize the lesson and explain the rights of US citizens as well as the responsibilities of us citizens as according to the constitution.

Science- S1P2 Obtain, evaluate and communicate information to demonstrate the effects of magnets on other magnets and other objects.

Students will give an example of how magnets are used in everyday life. (Example: a magnet holds a paper on a refrigerator.)
