When we enter the deepavali bazaar at 9:15 a.m. we have some traditional Indian cuisine as our breakfast, we bought some thosai and chicken curry, we first try out the thosai with breads, and it’s really awesome, it is very rich in spice. The chicken curry was amazing as well, the curry is very well flavored but not over spicy. After our breakfast, we headed to the first event that event the kolam contest, the event is about creating a Kolam design in line with the Deepavali theme, within a designated area measuring by using self-colored rice, that are provided by the organization team, it was really fun, those participants

Really try their best to create their own kolam design. After the event ended, we have a random quiz that is about Indian culture and history, that’s all of the event for morning session.

At 10 o'clock in the morning, the four of us gathered outside the auditorium to enjoy traditional Indian cultural dances. Both the male and female Indian students performed beautifully, accompanied by the vibrant atmosphere of Indian music, creating a lively ambiance that compelled everyone to join in the dance. By 1 o'clock in the afternoon, after finishing our classes, we noticed that Mr. Suthan had set up a stall. We decided to purchase four cups of Masala chai from him. The taste was a bit spicy, resembling ginger tea. Later on, we also bought a packet of Indian-flavored curry from Mr. Suthan. He suggested that dipping bread in the curry was the most delicious way to enjoy it. After taking some photos, we headed back home.

During this Deepavali event, we experienced Indian food, saw traditional Indian costumes, and learned more about Indian culture, which allowed us to better understand Indian culture and customs.  Those activity let we  realize that there are so many types of Indian food, which made our impression of Indian food more profound and increased love for Indian food. In addition, this event also wrote new memories for us, experiencing the first Deepavali event in college life, remembering it in the warm and lively lights and happiness with the people we love and care about.

Deepavali celebrations can take on new forms with these creative ideas. Hosting such events on college campuses helps foster creativity and provides a platform for students to showcase their talents. It added an unforgettable and beautiful memory to our college life.

They do with the contrast between normal everyday scenes, making the whole setting feel very creepy.
