Solar Panels:
In 1839 Alexandre Edmond Becquerel discovered the photo voltaic effect which explains how electricity can be generated from sunlight. This is still used today on a grander stage causing less global warming.
Wind Turbines:
The first electricity-generating wind turbine was invented in 1888 in Cleveland, Ohio by Charles F. Brush. The turbine’s diameter was 17 meters, it had 144 rotor blades made of cedar wood, and it generated about 12 kilowatts of power. Another amazing discovery that helps limit the global warming.

Republican:
At the moderate level, there is recognition of the significance of global warming and the importance of action. The party is divided on how significant human activity has impacted the onslaught of climate change. At its most extreme, certain party members do not recognize that humans have played any role in global warming, stating that the earth warming is the natural progression of the planet.
Democrats:
Democratic beliefs on global warming include a belief that the U.S. should be actively trying to reduce the use of fossil fuels and develop clean energy initiatives. The Democratic Party is “committed to curbing the effects of climate change, protecting America’s natural resources, and ensuring the quality of our air, water, and land for future generations.

If I was dealing with this problem i would make every new building that was being built have some sort of "clean" energy source. Either have solar panels on the roof or maybe even a wind turbine. It could help slow down the climate change. I would also try to make everyone limit the use of gasoline in cars. Try and make cars either electric powered or solar powered. It would take a example of how the climate change effects the world especially in the Arctic.
