         <description><![CDATA[<div>Auschwitz was one of the deadliest camps in Poland. Opened in 1940 is was originally opened as a detention center for Polish citizens. It was three camps in one, a prison camp, an extermination camp, and a slave-labor camp. Some that arrived at Auschwitz were killed immediately, others were kept for slave laboring. </div>]]></description>
