tell myself to cool down and also remind him to cool down . Or I will send him to the cooling corner where I can keep an eye on him. After class I will talk to him for a very long time until he knows his mistake. A very very long time......and he will face serious consequences.

1) Use rhythm to catch their attention.

2) deduct points and add points.

3) repeat 3 times, the 3rd time they will see a scary teacher.

If a pupil is openly rude, I will...I will pause deliberately long, look shock and unbelievable and illicit response from the rest of the class. The other pupils will comment how rude and wrong the pupil is. The rude pupil will hear others comment and feedback about him. The rude pupil usually will see how bad he appears in others' eyes and would have cooled down by now. It is then the right time to further counsel.
