During my morning commute, I hire coffee

to help me get through the morning, and to help keep me energized. When I don't get to have my coffee, I am struggling to stay awake.

The job that I see my students requiring me to do is to challenge them to learn while having fun. Keeping my students motivated to learn will be my biggest and most exciting challenge. By providing the motivation they need, and challenging them to learn, I can help them feel successful and make progress while they are having fun with their friends!

What Did I Hire?

In the article, the students that hired school to make them feel successful were "those whose way of learning or passions matches that of their particular teachers." (Christensen, Horn, and Johnson, 2010, P. 8)

To accomplish my goals or tasks, I "hired" college classes. Earning a college degree (or two) and becoming a teacher have always been my goals. The tasks that I must complete to achieve these goals are: studying, and getting good grades.

I have also "hired" good grades. Striving to get the best grades possible and achieving that goal makes me feel very motivated and successful.
