Without permission, this is a crime punishable by death, but if the woodcutter gives the bear one of his 3 daughters to marry, the bear will forgive the crime. The woodcutter's daughter, Rosa, steps in to save her father's life. We then find out who the bear really is and the love story between The Bear Price and Rosa.
