I recognise this may not have happened at all campuses so far, however, we do need them to start as soon as possible and I will help in any way I possibly can – more training to be available very soon.  

The reason we need the Learning Walks to get underway is to support the ULaw data collection phases throughout the year. Phase 1: Dec-Feb

Phase 2: March- June

Phase 3: July-Sept

Phase 4: Oct-Dec .

The Learning Walks data is collected by Professor Brian Smith, who anonymises it, and creates reports we can then forward to regulatory bodies evidencing we are adhering to the relevant regulations and requirements.

We have nearly completed data collection phase 1 and we are now moving into phase 2 of the ULaw data collection phases. We are hoping to capture as much positive data as we can, so the Learning Walks beginning has become a matter of some urgency.

However, I recognise not everyone is comfortable with the themes and therefore may wish to have a further discussion or more in-depth training around the themes.

If this is the case I am more than happy to work with colleagues on a one-to-one, or small group, basis to ensure everyone has a fully workable idea of what they might be able to consider as relevant to each theme. Or any other element of the Learning Walks which they wish to discuss more deeply.

Please remember ULaw is bound by specific data collection cycles so we do need the data from the Learning Walks as soon as possible. If you are unsure about any element of the Learning Walks please feel free to email me on helen.coleman@law.ac.uk and I will help in any way I possibly can to suit your needs.
