Content differentiation in the classroom doesn't necessarily mean completely switching your content and wiping the slate clean every time you present information. As teachers, content differentiation means tweaking, changing, or slightly adding to the content you present to students. This does not mean that you're changing the lesson in terms of which standards you're hitting, it just means you decide to change up the literal content you're teaching.

Differentiation in the process comes with a lot of creative freedoms for both teacher and student. Put simply, it means that you are changing or switching the method or process by which you teach your students material. This leans into the idea that each student learns differently, so utilizing differentiation in this way can allow a more well rounded approach to teaching material that will ultimately reach a larger number of students and give them the best opportunity to understand material.

Differentiation in product looks like giving students freedom in the choices they have of expressing and demonstrating what they've learning. So instead of a simple formative assessment at the end of a lesson where every student fills out a test that shows what they retained, students could come up with a creative project to demonstrate to the teacher what knowledge they have on the learned topic.

Students can have fun playing various online and in person games in class while practicing skills of repeating vocabulary, grammar, and conjugations, committing content to memory in a way that's memorable.

Jam Board is a great collaborative way for students to discuss and have conversations about learned material. I've used Jam Boards throughout high school and college, and it's a simple way for a teacher to check for understanding or even could be used for a formative assessment. In my future 7th grade Spanish classroom, I would most likely use this resource after a lesson surrounding cultural learning in Spanish. I would ask students to make an initial post describing something they found interesting in the material we learned, in Spanish, and then we would post them up on the white board in class and I would ask students to explain their answers and then ask for any areas of confusion. This is a colorful and fun way for students to share what they've learned with the teacher and the class, and it works on building confidence in their answering of questions as the whole class will be able to see their responses.

Google Slides is well used in the area of content delivery, but I think it is extremely effective and useful for how simple it is. Whether it's delivering a new set of vocabulary, teaching a new grammar conjugation, or describing a cultural lesson, I think that using google slides in my future 7th grade Spanish classroom will be a common occurrence. It consolidates information well in a way that keeps the presentation of it very concise, yet you can still add on or take away things to say.

In my Spanish classes in high school, one way my teacher would differentiate her content is by giving us pre-approved online news articles to read through and gather content from. This gave her a change of the bare bones of what she was teaching and gave us added information from various sources. This is mostly pertaining to the aspect of teaching Hispanic/Spanish culture in my future classroom, but nonetheless I can see myself giving students online articles that I've read through that are applicable to things we're learning about with culture and what is going on in countries other than our own.

EdPuzzle is another tool that I've been using since high school that allows differentiation in the process of learning for students. This can be an externally sourced video, or one that you've recorded as a teacher giving a lesson, but either way it's a great way to present information in a way that isn't quite reading a textbook and answering questions, but it's still interactive and assures engagement with students. In my future classroom, I see myself using this tool to present information if I need to lecture to explain a new concept of vocabulary conjugation and I need students to do so at home or on their own time in general. It allows me to put questions after certain points of content and will allow students to watch a video instead of listen to me present the information.

I will use this tool in a future classroom to have students make presentations about content they've learned, but it's also very useful to have students show that they can pronounce words in the Spanish language. I talked about how Flip can be used for students to practice their pronunciation in the process section, but this can be a demonstration that they've been retaining how to pronounce certain words and to show their conversational fluency.

It's in the realm of Kahoot, but this has more game options, fun rewards, and cute animals! We played this game a lot in high school, but for the content that needs to be taught in Spanish it's very necessary to have a lot of repetition which is easy to garner with games structured like this.

It's going to be something I'll use leading up to quizzes or tests in order to give students the ability to play the quiz game at home, keep track of a leaderboard in class, and give them a fun option for studying. One of my favorite parts of this resource is its ability to have students play at home anonymously. It keeps the fun gameplay aspects while giving students a little less nerves of having others see their "rank" and their scores.
