Economic problems is the most significant reason for the collapse of Rome since the slaves impacted Romes fall because Rome depended on slaves to do their work. When the slaves population started decreasing it led them to fall. Which caused them to start losing their sources ,taxes, and trading with others.

Ancient Rome fell due to the economy here are reasons and evidence.

1. Trade: due to the scarce cultivation and the long, bad roads, the Empire was having a hard time since it did not sell its product and in some parts it did not arrive, which caused the economy to go from peak.

2. Unemployment: Unemployment is another thing that caused the economy to fall since many people not having jobs revealed themselves, making it more complicated and making the empire weaker and as a result it was more prone to enemy invasions.

Rome was under economic problems because Rome's economy depended on slaves. So as expansion came to a halt Rome's supply of slaves and other things like war treasures dried up. And so because their slave supply dried up and Rome's economy depended on slaves, Rome would be having quite some economic problems.

The Legions Were the Foundation of Roman Military Power. The legions had been the backbone of the Roman military for centuries, allowing Rome to conquer and maintain its vast empire. However due to the line of incompetent emperors that ascend the throne, Rome no longer had its former prestige, as it’s economy dropped, and the amount of recruiters lessens, making people focus on trying to earn money. The lack of recruits force leaders to recruit outsiders which although fills up the numbers, it also causes a lack of loyalty within the military since Roman is no longer the dominant force within the army. Although legions are known for their strength, they’re also known for their unwavering loyalty toward the empire, thus the lack of loyalty really took a toll on the legion’s performance and in the end causes many men to betray them when enemies attacked. Which is why the weakening of Roman legions is so significant to the fall of Rome.
