Some techniques they used are:
-Sounds from video games and collecting coins as that was their topic
-Music
- Interviews with different people, and some of them they kind of went through an adventure and they had interesting conversations which keeps the reader hooked.
- Had the little quiz in-between which makes listeners think and it engages the listener.
- They had a child on the show as it's a podcast for kids i'm assuming, so it helps the kids maybe want to listen more as it's not just an adult talking, and they might feel more connected to the podcast in a way.

This podcast is very interesting in the sense that there are two people in it that stage talking to each other, but sometimes they also get the audience interested with questions that are meant to engage their thinking brains and set the tone for the whole thing. The man also gets the audience engaged (at least, he got me engaged and ensured that I would have good memories about the podcast up to now) by playing a funny video of a cat (that, to the woman, looked like a pop tart) dancing and meowing perfectly to a certain song (that I don't know).

This podcast seems even more interesting in terms of its structure. Similar to the first podcast, this one features a man and a woman talking to each other and asking each other questions, as well as sound bites from their interviews with their own employees and others, as well as one live. This podcast also uses a funny moment (the point where another person took and on a "safari" to see computers the size of several refrigerators) and "juicy" questions to engage the audience.
