1. Take a picture your document

2. Long hold and Highlight the text you want to translate

3. Once you highlight, it will give you the option to translate

4. Tap Translate

5. You can then play the translation out loud as well

Translate text using the camera view using the TRANSLATE APP

1. Open the Translate app  on your iPad, then tap Camera.

2. Choose the language you want to translate your selected text into.

3. Position iPad so the rear camera can translate text around you.

   Note: As you move the rear camera, text is translated in real time.

4. Tap  to pause the view.

   You can zoom in to get a closer look at the overlaid translations.

5. Tap an overlaid translation to show the translation card, then do any of the following:

   • Copy Translation: Copy the translated text.

   • Add to Favorites: Add the translation to a list of favorites.

   • Listen to Original Text: Tap more, then tap play to listen to the original text.

   • Listen to Translated Text: Tap play to listen to the translated text.

6. When you’re finished, tap x.

*Tap slide and duplicate

*Make moves

*Tap slide and duplicate as many times as needed

*When finished, Export as animated gif

*Choose a picture

*Color - Change the way that it looks - paintbrush

*Tap object and tap Animate

*Build ins - once you arrive at the slide - transitions

*Add action

*Create path or design your own path for the object OR

*Choose an Action

*Click Done

After you have created your template that you want to share with your students via Apple Classroom:

1. Open Apple Classroom

2. Start a class

3. Open Keynote

4. Open your Presentation

5. Tap “sharrow” button

6. Tap Export and Send

7. Tap Keynote Theme

8. Tap Send Theme

9. Tap Airdrop

10. Tap your Class

11. Students will have to Accept the Presentation and tap “add to theme chooser”

Once these steps are completed, there is no need to share with the students again. Each time they open it from “My Themes” it will open a fresh copy.

Choosing & Renaming a Theme:

1. Tap Choose a theme

2. Tap Spelling Words Theme at the bottom (under My Themes)

3. Change the title by tapping presentation

4. Tap rename

5. Rename to spelling list (ex. Oa ow)

6. Tap done

Duplicating Slides:

1. Tap + on bottom left

2. Add 12 slides (or how many spelling words there are)

Edit Slides: 

1. Go back to slide 1

2. Tap on the moon and mountain

3. Tap drawing

4. Write spelling words two times at top

5. Tap on the moon and mountain and draw picture with drawing tools 

6. Tap done in top left corner

Record a Sentence: 

1. Tap moon and mountain

2. Tap record audio

3. Be sure to allow microphone (if not already)

4. Tap record and record audio

5. Preview recording if you like it

6. Tap Insert in top right corner

7. Position audio where you would like to

Helpful Hints:

• Pinch in and out to make drawing space smaller or bigger

• You can minimize and move the drawing tools to the side by placing your finger on the tools and dragging it to the side. Drag back to the middle when you want them to expand again. 

• If you make a mistake, you can always hit the undo button.

• Using the paint tube: Click the paint tube, choose the color, make an outline of what you want to draw and the paint tube will automatically fill in the shape you outlined.

1. Teachers have the ability to change NCEDCloud passwords:

   • In your NCEDCloud account just to the left of the “Global Search box”, there is a red Application box with a dropdown menu

   • Select People from the menu

   •  Select My Students Tab on the left

   • Find the student you are looking for or enter their last name or Powerschool # in the “Search My Students” box

   • Select “Change Password at the bottom and click yes when it asks

   • Enter the new password 2x and click Save and Close

   • DO NOT CLICK SAVE ON UPDATE MY PASSWORD OR IT WILL CHANGE YOURS!

   • If you change the password for NCEDCloud just be mindful that it probably will not accept the student’s previous password and it must contain at least 8 characters with at least 1 upper, 1 lower,and 1 number> Do not end with ! and it will not take student names as part of the password for this.
