An important factor, when a manager leads, commands and assist, most important is not to yell at the employees. I learned this information is a key factor to a successful manager after submitting quiz one.
Whether its a small organization or a big six-figure company, a manager is the frame and face of the company. Imagine an employee makes an error and gets yelled by a manager in front of clients and customers. How does that really look? Oppose to if the manager realizes the error and tries to assist and make a better example so the error does not occur. Now that same employee not only learned from his or her mistake but can confidently continue making better performance.
By improving your colleagues and employees, a manager can improve statistically simply by helping rather than yelling. A managers role is to hire, correct, involves as importantly to coach, lead and set examples. Yelling in this matter may be a negative factor and less likely for an employee from having better performance.

According to the Mintzberg managing rules, there are several ways that a manager can lead and improvise as. For example, one manager is working as a long term that accommodates and improves the company's asset, statistics and salary. Another type of managing is short term, where one manager improves the company by eliminating and adding ideas to bring a company that may be in trouble or not having success rates as far as sales. There is a manager that monitors and manages the employees work performance or manages the specific issue that can help the company.

According to the article, "Use of Mintzberg's Model of Managerial Roles to Evaluate Academic Administrators", there are three main roles that mangers follow or are the face of. Impersonal behavior is when one manages and leads, also long term. Informational, one that monitors, improvises, and speaks for the company for improvement in any matter. Finally, you have your decisional manager whom negotiates and is a resource locator.

These methods have been successful for some companies and improvement has shown otherwise. In my opinion, surveys show these improvements and should be used as an example of for managers to use as a tool.

References: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/1d42/0eaaf69717cb52b20e427c713352f0646bbd.pdf

Diversity has a widely stretched meaning, such as ethnicity, gender, race and even a way someone looks visually or carries themselves. Since we are living in a generation that has a great impact on diversity, it was never so much like that a decade ago and even less two decades ago. Thankfully over the years, we have been educated by scholars and professors in changing our ways of thinking about diversity. According to the U.S Census Bureau, since 2010, from ages 18-39 there has been an increase in Hispanics, and ages from 40-64, also an increase in Hispanics.
This generalizes that two age groups fit in the category of young and mature that the nation has increased in population. This also means we have different diverse ethnic that can lead, help, train and accomplish in a task. It has been shown in many studies that working in groups rather than as in induvial, have a higher chance of a success rate.
I have worked as an individual and have worked in groups. Both times I have succeeded to achieve a grade A, however working as an individual, I spent more time in resources and research. Working as a groups member or in groups, there were more ideas from different people in the group that helped the project in less time.

https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/2019/comm/age-race-distribution.html

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2015/cb15-tps16.html

As much as we want to help our families and friends in any way of such as giving a hand or completing a task that will benefit them, there are people like us in the corporate world that do the same. This is known as Corporate social responsibility, this can be examples by helping the employees and their families through health benefits, charities, and donations, or being involved in an organization that supports a certain group. In 1982, the Levis Strauss Foundation joined to fight against HIV and AIDS. They made a corporate donation to, volunteered and joined to fight against this unreversed disease.
Like Levis, many organizations such as Warby Parker and Ben and Jerry have been involved in helping their community and joined to help an organization.
I firmly believe that every company and organization should be involved in corporate social responsibility. This method not only helps the employees but the surround people. Imagine if every company in the world only joined one organization to help, that means every in-person in the world would be covered and protected.

https://www.fcaaids.org/2017/05/31/reigniting-the-fight-levi-strauss-co-and-the-levi-strauss-foundation/

https://bjsocialresponsibility.weebly.com

https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbesbusinessdevelopmentcouncil/2018/05/30/why-your-company-should-be-more-socially-responsible/#11a35ed42c32

Global Organization every day in our lives and has been in our regime without notice. For example, after waking up in the morning for your cup of joe, what is next on your mind? Should you have breakfast or skip it because you may be running late for a meeting. Have we stopped to think for a second where did this cup of coffee come from, or where did the running shoes that I wear to work every day come from? Anther examples are your groceries list, are all the items during your check out actually from locals or even the state, nonetheless, everything we wear, eat and trade is based on the global organization. Most times it is positive to have this value in our lives, but can we say it’s the same for the people from other countries. Is the trade equal or less of its value, do young children get unpaid, are most employees safe during the process of trade and purchase? It may be unorthodox for some, but it is necessary to be involved and educated on global trade, most importantly if we have a crisis or market crash.

What I learned in this module is the importance of decision making. Like most people we have a routine every day, we wake up, go along our mornings and then to school, or work. Afterward, we take off and come home or go to the gym. Whichever way we see it, we are making decisions on our everyday life. Then there is people and organizations above you such as a police officer or a doctor that also make extending decisions when they come to work. They take the extra step to protect us and help alongside their routine. Finally, there is your government, community organization, and churches that take even bigger responsibilities, by this, I mean helping a whole scenario or groups of people.
Imagine if we didn't take that extra step to drink our coffee in the morning, it seems harmless, nothing could possibly happen with you or the people around you. What if the police officer didn't stop the person that was speeding? There would be an accident or maybe even not. The chances of something major would happen as I go along the list. What the doctor didn't give enough dose of sodium chloride or medication, now the patient is at a higher risk, which means the people around the patient will be hurting, now there is a group of people that are getting hurt, chances of risk are increasing. Now, what if the churches decide not to take place on Sundays, or what if our government decided not to action in something that can be catastrophic. At this point, the risks are higher and more potentially dangerous.
In conclusion, everyone has a certain percentage of creating a risk for themselves and the people around them. Depending on whos role it is to take responsibility, bad decision making can not only hurt yourself but the people around you. Making negative decisions can impact bad results, making correct and liable decisions make the world a better place, as simple as starting within.

https://hbr.org/2014/09/9-habits-that-lead-to-terrible-decisions

https://www.umassd.edu/fycm/decision-making/process/

There are different types of strategic planning, depending on the organization or within the community. This can be categorized in a different outcome such as long term, short term or operational term.
Long term planning is considered to carry out the responsibility for a long time or making a strategic plan that can last for months or years. Typically long term planning can take place in big organizations or a small or even a facility with large quantities of employees. Reason for this is that the management team must operate and accommodate more tasks. In my opinion, the bigger the organzation, the more tasks to create and follow, usually statiscally, a larger company requires more attention than smaller companies with fewer employees. One long term planning is addressing and educating the employees about their health benefits and 401K plan. When you apply for health insurance, you made the decision to have this insurance for quite some time, in addition, your employer must create a plan to follow accordingly and making sure that the health insurance information is up to date and that the employer pays anything outside the insurance fees. This is to ensure that the employee and employers are both safe and up to date.
Short term or operational term is a commitment that happens suddenly or has a timeline of anywhere from three months up to a year. This setting can take place anywhere for good reasons or other. For example, a dental clinic is doing awful in sales and has not seen the minimum quantity of patients in order to have the office running. So the management team will hire or have the manager come up with a short term solution that only focuses on the issue. Couple weeks to months later the issue should be resolved. These are important planning that every business owner and company will have since it creates principal management and planning that benefits the employer and employee.

Have you ever wondered if you were to open your small business online to make money or as a hobby? Maybe you have an idea for this great commitment but you are scared to start large so you take small steps. Such as advertising and letting the locals or within your community know. E-business has spread widely over the last decade and this benefits for those that are just starting, people that want to work from home, or maybe helping your high school in fundraising for an upcoming event. Military and non-profit groups are also using E-business to spread their message and market. The main goal for the method is internal management, decreasing the cost of production while increasing sales and efficiency and creating a recall for customers to keep coming back.
E-commerce is another similar trend that many young shoppers follow. For example, you see that you want to buy a pair of headphones that retail at $200 at best buy, but Amazon offers the same pair of headphones for $150 alongside frees shipping and next day delivery. What better deal than this? Like many Amazon and eBay are perfect examples for E-commerce, and this is the advantage that they have since paying online or electronically is more common.
Since I am a full time student and work full time, I do not have the luxury to have time off and spend a whole day shopping or looking for an item. Instead, if I see something interesting, I purchase online.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbestechcouncil/2018/03/06/how-technology-is-redefining-e-commerce/#789e5a62e3d5

https://www.digitalcommerce360.com/article/us-ecommerce-sales/

How important is it to manage our lives on our own? Imagine waking up every day and entirely changing your routine with the opposite. For example, not waking up to the correct time for your day. Instead of being early or on time for work or school, you attend very late. This would cause you to get warnings and right ups that can have you lose your place as a worker or dropped as a student. Some better ways to manage ourselves better than we already are is meditating. I find meditating to be ease stress even if it's for very small percentages.

Take time out of your day for 15-20 minutes to breath and meditate. This is a good way to filter and reset your mind, so you can better focus on managing what's important.

You never know when you will need help with something at work.

Do not be a joker or too sarcastic. Remember, co-workers are not always considered friends but colleagues that you work with.

Practice on your memory, being able to encode and strategize without having a pile of papers in front of you during presentation shows your diligence to your boss and co-workers.

Do not get too involved in a political conversation at work. Remember some people’s political status is as important as their religious views. You don’t want to offend anyone. Just respect it if you agree, or don’t say anything negative when you disagree.

Practice on multitasking. It will help you at work.

Do not stress too much about work, do not bring work at home, this may cause stress on other family members.
