First day back to school my alarm went off at 5:45, I pressed snooze. Again at 5:50 another alarm set off, I pressed snooze again. At 6:00 another alarm set off and using all my strength I got out of bed, accepted my challenge and got ready for my adventure.

On the first day of High School, I entered This HUGE campus with so many new people that I have never seen before. I got my schedule with 6 unfamiliar teachers that i would meet for the first time.

Its the end of the semester and I have high A's, high B's that i'm trying to make A's and some low A's i need to maintain. To achieve my goal it all comes down to one final test in each of my classes based on everything I have learned. Staying up late, studying as hard and as much of the material as you possibly can just to take one all to achieve an A in the class.

The "Abyss" is the hero's darkest hour, all the work is coming to this one point. If you fail you loose everything, if you succeed to pass your quest. During finals week all your hard work could be lost just from one last final test. The most stressful week of your life, a hero's darkest hour.

Temptations

I faced many temptations when trying to complete my quest. Go to the movies with your friends, or stay home and study. Watch Netflix or do my homework. But when I decided to study and do my homework, it only made me stronger and prepared me for the ultimate quest.

A hero is faced with my temptations during his/her journey, these temptations are thrown their way to prepare them for bigger challenges, these temptations helped my face my ultimate challenge; finals.

Katniss' Abyss

In the "Hunger Games' movie at the end of the novel she is thrown with the hardest decision of her life; kill peeta or die. This is katniss' darkest hour.

When a hero receives a call to an adventure he/she is asked to take a quest or challenge and go into the unknown world. The hero is usually hesitant at first but finally takes the challenge and sets off into the Unknown world. On the first day of High school we are asked to take this challenge and complete it. I was hesitant to start this journey into a place I had never been before; but finally as my last alarm set off I got up and accepted the challenge.
