         <description><![CDATA[<div> Located in the continent of <a href="http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/carib.htm">the Caribbean</a>, <a href="http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/namerica/caribb/ht.htm">Haiti</a> covers 27,560 square kilometers of land and 190 square kilometers of water, making it the 149th largest nation in the world with a total area of 27,750 square kilometers.<br>  It's a rugged, mountainous land, dominated by three main massifs (<em>mountain ranges</em>) all shown on the map. Also Haiti has second longest coast line.</div>]]></description>

Many artists cluster in ‘schools’ of painting, such as the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cap-Ha%C3%AFtien">Cap-Haïtien</a> school, which features depictions of daily life in the city, the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacmel">Jacmel</a>School, which reflects the steep mountains and bays of that coastal town, or the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Saint-Soleil&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1">Saint-Soleil</a> School, which is characterized by abstracted human forms and is heavily influenced by Vodou symbolism.<br><br></div>]]></description>
