The teachers only seemed to be concerned about whether a student met their A.R. goal or not. If students met their A.R. goal they received a reward. I wish teachers in my school would have been able to recommend interesting books that they thought students would enjoy. I read several books to meet my A.R. goal, compete with friends, and to get a prize. When I was younger I would get excited for book fairs. At book fairs they would sell books that I found interesting. My friends and I would often buy books from the book fair and discuss what occurred within our books.
