The biggest aspect of teaching math, to me, is to make it enjoyable and relatable. So many students hear bad things about math from parents, siblings, and even other teachers. I think it is so important to make the subject relate back to students every day lives and find a way to make them see why they are learning the topic at hand. Encourage positive attitudes towards math. It is also important to encourage different ways of learning in math and show students that they do have ways to mold the class into something that fits them better.

Teaching mathematics gives instructors an opportunity to speak encouragement and offer challenges to students in order to push them to reach their maximum potential.

Every student should feel that they are capable to learn and be good at math! However, this doesn't mean teachers should make math easy. I feel like we learn best from our mistakes, and making math challenging can help students grow in their knowledge and understanding of math. Every student learns different, and should not be expected to memorize only one way on solving a problem.
