I had nightmares as a kid watching it. I've always listened to Michael Jackson’s music but I never really delved into his short films until later in my life. When I watched it, I was with my two older brothers. They had warned me about how scary the music video for Thriller is and how I should never watch it if I don’t want to be scared. I eventually watched it and had nightmares for weeks. I remember on ABC they announced a documentary to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's Bad. I remember watching it live, it was basically the making, production, and brainstorming of the album. It really opened up the mind of Michael Jackson and how much of a perfectionist he is when it comes down to the skill of song writing, producing, singing, and the overall sound. I thought this album was gonna be a new album with unreleased material, and new songs. I pre-ordered Scream on vinyl in Amazon with my moms permission. I was disappointed to find out that the album was a compilation of previously released songs but it was on colored glow in the dark vinyl so I couldn't really complain.
