My favorite part was when Cat showed everyone that she wasn’t really a fool , but actually very clever and brave .

I liked this book because it had action, history , and strong characters. It showed that even someone others underestimate can be a hero .

I love this book because Cadno is always causing some sort of trouble from running around a shop to catching clothes on fire.

Also Charlie’s dads don’t have a clue that Cadno is living in their house. Charlie ends up telling his best friends Lippy and Roo about Cadno and are always giving him cuddles. Meanwhile a horrible creature from Fargone comes to take Cadno back, it’s the Grendilock. In the end the Grendilock kidnaps Charlie’s dads and they find out about Cadno. Charlie defeats the Grendilock and ends up keeping Cadno.

This book is good for people who like adventures and I would recommend it to others.

The main characters are Daisy Wells, who is bold and confident, and Hazel Wong, who is thoughtful and careful. They are joined by friends like Beanie, Kitty, and Lavinia, as well as a new girl, Amina, who stirs up rivalry but also teaches them an important lesson.

My favourite part is when Daisy and Hazel realise they were wrong about Amina, showing that judging too quickly can lead to mistakes and that true friendship means learning to be fair and understanding.

It is a book about making decisions, and making if your unlucky in this book you could get eaten by a T-Rex 🦖!

I really liked this book because it helped me understand how life was for Jews during the war!

I really liked the way the boys supported each other and slowly started to feel safe again, showing how friendship and kindness can help people recover from even the darkest times. My favourite part of the book is when the boys finally find moments of peace and hope in their new surroundings, because it shows that even after great pain, new beginnings are possible.

This is a good book because it’s about a boy who got cursed at a festival, and he tries to get rid of it, but he can’t. He mets a boy called Brad, and everywhere they go, something bad happens, so he tries to minimise how much they go out, to stop the curse spreading. I would recommend this book.

It's a clockwork world with robot animals and cool mechanical trees, and his sister is still there! That's the best part. But then a really creepy bad guy called the Featherly shows up in his safe place, and now he has to be brave in both his made-up world and in real life.

This was the first book of the series that I read, but it wasn't actually the first in the series. I would recommend starting on the first one because this book gives away some important details that happen in the first book. However, I reayenjoyed the book it was a spooky story that had lots of mysteries and clue to follow. My favourite character was the spoiler who was the villain and messed up everything. Overall I would recommend this book and the series.

Forward in time, the family moved to 18 Verity Close and they were running away from the black birds of the north. Every time the family moved, the curse followed them and Noah Bradley hated that he had to change schools so often. He tried to fit in at school. Noah didn't like pretending to fit in because he liked being himself. His friends and him made fun of this particular girl - Neena Karpor. Noah's parents argued because of the curse and the signs that they had to move immediately, so his father moved away to have a job in Singapore. After some time, the signs came and Noah avoided them and his mother and brother were in danger.

His mother was on the hunt for other Bradleys and she happened to find one. Neena, Noah and his brother Billy had a fight with one of their family members and the black birds from the north. Fortunately, all the family members survived except for the evil one - she wanted to have all the power to herself and that caused her fate.

In the end, they live happily ever after. I loved this book so much and I hope you will enjoy it too!

Fing ruined everything!

I liked this book because it helped me understand how hard life was back then and it also shown me how brave and courageous Anna is.

The dance teacher believes that Aya has the potential to earn a prestigious ballet scholarship. I liked this book because it taught me about how you are not instantly a refugee when you evacuate to another country - you are an asylum seeker.

I liked this book because it had a lot of twists and betrayals but there were also a few funny parts that balanced out the whole story! This book shows to never give up because maybe you’ll succeed!

David and Tucky were frightened, they had to find a new home - towards the end of the story they thankfully found their dog Jip who went missing, they managed to find him on a cliff. It ended with a German pilot saving the two boys from a fire.

Archie played a practice for the football tournament in school as goalie. Mouse was on the opposite team and was a way better player than him. Archie's team was winning and Mouse looked really sad. She knew about Archie's wishes and told him not to wish for either of them to get into the tournament as it wouldn't be fair for other people. Although Archie had promised not to do it, he wanted to wish for Mouse to get into the tournament. Just as Mouse was running towards him with the ball and about to shoot, Archie said " I wish..." but then the words came out wrong and then he said," I wish I could get into the football tournament".Mouse kicked the ball as hard as she could straight towards the net but then a gust of wind wept the ball up and away from the net and she missed. Immediately, she knew that it was Archie so she stormed off of the pitch. Archie was really upset that Mouse didn't want to be his friend anymore. He was going to the tournament and seeing Lucas Bailey again. Before the tournament, Archie made another wish for a friend that would understand what it is like to have a life like his as no-one knew about his Mum apart from him and his Dad.

The next day at school, another boy came into school whose name was Archie Crumb and was almost the exact same as Archie. A few days after, Archie met up with Mouse and they both apologised to each other. The bad news was that Mouse was moving house to another town and was leaving Archie's school. They worked together and made a plan to stop Mouse from moving as neither of them wanted her to move. They were going to make Mouse's house disgusting and put off the people looking at the house. It worked for 4 of the 5 viewings. The final one didn't go to plan. Archie normally sat on the wall outside Mouse's house and told the people about nosy neighbours and foxes raiding bins to make them uninterested. This time though, the family got out of the car and Archie was about to say horrible things about the house when a police man started talking to them about how good the house and street was. After he had finished, the family walked inside the house with big smiles on their faces. Archie was worried that they would still be interested after Mouse showed them around the house. After a long time waiting outside, Mouse and the family walked out of the house. The family still had their big smiles on their faces but Mouse didn't. She told Archie that her parents had found the kipper that she put under her bed to make the room smell bad and that the family looked interested in buying the house. The day of the tournament arrived and Archie went round to see Mouse to ask if she wanted to come and watch him play. Sadly, she couldn't because she was looking at houses to move into. Archie played in goal and his team made it to the semi-finals. The team had a 15 minute break before the final match. Suddenly, he heard a young voice yelling his name. It was his sister Scadge and his Dad in the audience. Archie was very confused as to why they were there. His Dad didn't even know that he was playing in the tournament. Then he heard another voice. It was Mouse. But how could she be there?was what Archie was thinking. Mouse was meant to be looking at houses. He ran up to her and asked her why she was there. she said,"The final house cancelled so I ran here,". The final match began and something bad happened. One of the players on the same team as Archie had slipped over and had broken his arm. He suddenly thought of something. He went over to his coach and whispered something in his ear. It was half time and the scores were 1-1. They were just about to start the second match and right behind Archie and fully geared up was Mouse. Archie had asked the coach if Mouse could play instead of James. James was the boy who had broken his arm. There was 30 seconds left on the clock and Archie's team was winning 2-1. Archie accidentally let the ball go through the net an put the scores to 2-2. There was 15 seconds left and Mouse had the ball near the other team's goal. She gently kicked the ball into the bottom left corner of the net and won the game. The whole team cheered. The day after, Archie went round Mouse's house. There was good news. Mouse was still moving house but it wasn't as far as her parents thought it was so she was staying in Archie's school. Mouse offered her pet hamster to Archie. He refused but held Flump. He had decided not to make any more wishes as some of them had caused disasters. Archie spoke as if he was Flump saying," I wish I was bigger,". They both laughed but them Mouse's smile fell as she said,"Oh no Archie! What did you just say,". Archie had made another wish.

I loved reading this book as in the end his Mum feels a bit better and his Dad and step-mum cared about him. I would definitely recommend this book to other people.

I liked this book because of the storyline and all the flashbacks which show how important it is to read books in order to know what has happened!

I loved this book it taught me so much about what people went through back then. This book is about three boys who's names were Leo, Yossi and Mordecai who travel from Auschwitz to Ambleside the sad bit is Yossi got seperated from his dad and he was trying to find another way to reunite with his dad. This is a truely heartstoping story . This book is full of confusion, trust , disagreements and life (adventure).

A high-school student (Light Yagami/kira)discovers a supernatural notebook that grants its user the ability to kill. Light Yagami, a genius student who uses a notebook to eliminate criminals, creating a gripping "cat-and-mouse" game with detective L.The story dives into the gray areas of justice, questioning if Light (kira) is a savior or a villain, particularly as his idealism turns into a hunger for absolute control. I think Kira (Light Yagami) was using the death note to change the world to be a better place but then took granted for it trying to figure out L's real identity so he can take him out before he figures out he's the murder.

I liked this book because it was nice to read the first few books to understand what they were about. For a change, I actually like all of the horror and gore in the book.

It is about a boy whose Mum is always in bed and his dad doesn’t really care about him. He has a best friend called Mouse. He is given 9 wishes by his favourite football player. He made a mistake with one of his wishes because he wanted Mouse to be on the football team. He was in goal for the trials sand when Mouse was about to score a goal he wished for himself to be on the football team when he was going to say that he wanted Mouse to be on the team. When she kicked the ball a huge gust of wind flew the ball away from the goal. Mouse knew that it was Archie so they had a falling out because he promised Mouse that he wouldn’t wish for him or her to be on the football team. In the end they both became friends again, his mum got out of bed and his dad started to care about him more. The wishes really helped his life.

I would recommend this book to the whole school as it is so good.
