Thomas Nast during the Progressive Era was most famous for his political cartoons. He focused on the corruption of the mighty Boss Tweed. Thomas Nast's work improved the lives of many Americans because he was willing to do what many other Americans wouldn't, target the corrupt and powerful. He pointed out Boss Tweed for his corruption and left his mark on history!
