●Outline of Task: watch the TEDx video by Joe Ruhl on his proposal of teaching methods that inspire the students of the future, based on providing more choice and care for learners. The question and answers get you to consider his arguments, reflect on your own practices and draw up the pros and cons of this approach.

●Assessment: Auditory Skills and Written Q&A

●Further Challenge: create your own TED talk on flipgrid arguing your proposal on what inspires your learners. 

●Outline of Task: You will answer a series of questions that challenges your self-awareness and takes you on a self-discovery of your teaching philosophy and motives. From this, you will be able to consider the care of yourself and thus the desire to invest in further care of your learners.

●Further Challenge: propose your goals for next term and the actions you wish to take forward, integrating the toolkit into your teaching practices. 

●Outline of Task: Teacher SOS, problem solve common barriers/obstacles we face in the classroom to determine how care can be used to prevent and/or overcome these challenges

●Further Challenge: refer to your learner ILP’s and propose care strategies to build rapport, break down barriers and connect with your learners; what activities could you do to integrate this, that is also in line with ‘behaviours and attitudes’ standards perhaps?

●Outline of Task: Create a drawing of your dream classroom, that allows for more choice and care in your classroom.

●Further Challenge: Justify your plan, explaining how the layout, resources, fixtures and fittings etc, will allow you to plan for a greater choice of learning activities and care for your learners.
