We've learned about so many ways to use technology in the classroom, but I'm still struggling on how to find ways to implement it into a HPE class. Any ideas?

When introducing a new activity to the class, you could have them get into teams and create videos about how to play the activity or even just what the rules are. Hope this helps.

Using technology in a HPE class could be a good thing. Where my girls go to school, they go back a review video of their previous game to see what they can do different. This video is access on HUDL, which I think is a great tool to use.

One way I would say is using QR codes again. These can be very useful for any subject class really. These QR codes could show them different warm-up techniques, how to perform certain skills or tasks, and even cool-down drills.

Since almost every student has a phone, you can incorporate technology in so many ways. If you are introducing a new concept, or new concepts, create a scavenger hunt with QR codes. This helps them remember them much better. If you are introducing new moves, for yoga for example, have them look the names of the poses up online and take a screen shot of the definition. This will make it fun for teenage students, because they are allowed to use their phone in class.

One way I would use technology in the classroom is to do a unit on healthy lifestyles and have each student make a powtoon or comic strip to display one way to have a "healthy day"

I would probably have the students come up with a short story that shows how a person that is living an unhealthy life can turn their life around by making better decisions and choosing to live a better and healthier life.

I think using QR codes would be a great way to incorporate technology in a Health and Physical Education class. There could be QR codes throughout the room and for circuit training the students could scan the QR codes with a mobile device and the attachment to the QR code could be a video on how to do that specific exercise if they needed an example.

I can understand how this would be difficult. I have heard of some individuals using technology as a source of measuring a student's overall fitness. I am sure there are computer based software's out there that might help them in creating a workout plan or something to that manner.

One way to implement technology into your classroom would be showing students workout videos throughout the semester. At the end, you could have a final project where your students could get together into small groups and create their own workout videos.
