The fool who follows him . For me It's saying that the person who blindly follows someone foolish is even more foolish themselves. But, it's not always that simple. Sometimes, the follower might not even realize the leader's being foolish. Or maybe they're sticking around out of loyalty or because they feel like they don't have any other choices. So, it's not always fair to judge them too harshly.

I would say that the more foolish would be the one who follows. Knowingly, having to be in a position where on would be following another would put with having to be in situations where one does what the other says. In society, Philippine society, this is something that is more often done. To follow one’s lead as someone who’s older, someone who has more responsibilities, who is it to say that one has more knowledge on what has to be done? Everyone has a different perspective.

They are essentially the sheep who blindly follow the command of the shepherd, not knowing if they are on the path of goodness or on the path to slaughter. They are given a choice to see the truth, yet the choose to stay in the comfort of their own bubble. Thus, their willingness to remain ignorant, makes it so that they are more foolish than the fool who leads them.

Mainly because this person had a choice to step back and assess if following the foolish person is for the best. Yet, they still decided to follow the foolish.

I believe that someone who isn't foolish should be able to distinguish true from false and good from bad. In that sense, the fool who follows the fool is the more foolish one--because, in the first place, why would they condone and/or follow the actions of the foolish? They should be wise enough to know and do better, and that also includes having a better role model to follow.

The leader is responsible for initiating the poor decision, and the followers are responsible for not questioning or providing alternative solutions. Although, in another view, both the fool and the follower can be seen as victims of inaccessibility or lack of knowledge.

The fool who follows the fool is the fool. It is assumed that the one who follows is unaware of the person's level of foolishness. However, in the case that he is foolishly following another fool, he is presented with the reality that what the fool is doing is otherwise. Until he seeks the truth (which may be that the fool is not actually a fool), he is stuck with the notion that he is doing no wrong. Of course it would be "logical" to say that he is foolish in knowing the mindset of the fool because then he is able to discern his values and morals. The fool himself does not necessarily force others to follow in his actions, and the follower has made the choice to imitate the actions of the fool.
