Pollution is wasting, to put it simply. Pollution is the thing that chips away at all biodiversity in the world – it is turning oxygen into carbon dioxide, releasing toxins into clean water, and putting garbage where flourishing plains used to be. Pollution is the thing that kills and forces 'survival of the fittest'.

One day, our world will be filled with landfills. One day, our world's sources of clean water will total to much less than 1% of all the water in the world. One day, the air we breathe will be the source of fatal sickness and death. All because of pollution. The definition of pollution has never changed. And this is for a reason. Pollution means something, that's not very specific. It is a wide subject that happens in reality. It is something that everybody wants to avoid. That is why there are certain types of pollution that pollution in general is categorized into.

Remember that our waters are polluted? The land with garbage and landmines? Our air with toxins and greenhouse gases? Our cities with noise and light? They are all different kinds of pollution, related to many kinds of waste. This website explains exactly what types of pollution there are, and gives handy information that you should always keep at your disposal (especially when writing an essay about pollution!)

Here's a website that the Australian Government made for Australian citizens about how to take care of racism. It suggests different ways to deal with racism that are effective even outside of Australia. I mean, what kind of bully likes it when their victim stands up to them? This website has perfect suggestions of exactly what to do and how to stand up to others' racism.

Just like I explained in the "Introduction to Racism", racism has played a big part in many major historical events and is a very horrible thing to have in this world. Who likes being discriminated against, anyway? A lot of people don't, but some people obviously don't know or don't care what they're doing to others when they discriminate against them. Seems awful, doesn't it? Try imagining you were a Jew in World War Two, and it just gets worse from there.

People that are racists place people in categories based on their skin colour. There's two main ones: Black and White, which is basically African American and English respectively. Sometimes, there's a 'yellow' for the Chinese. However, they discriminate between them, and certain categories are considered better than others. For example, a racist might think it better to be 'white' instead of 'black' or 'yellow'.
There are many documented events where people have been categorised into their skin colours and sorted into different places, often ripping families apart. People that were 'half-and-half' in between two skin colours were in another place, sometimes. This can be very upsetting.
When people such as Martin Luther King Jr. fought for their rights, people rebelled. They didn't want everybody to live together. People got injured, even killed. Sometimes the police were lax with the people that abused the campaigners, and some of the police even supported this cause! Why is skin colour such a big deal to racists? Even sometimes today, we can see examples of racism. Why can't we stop? From the way I look at it, racism seems like drugs. Once you get into it, you can't stop...

I mean, we're breathing in oxygen, breathing out CO2, farting, chopping down the trees that keep that last bit of oxygen alive... and a teenager's going to go, "Yo, bro! What've we got 'ere? Killing ourselves with some gas? No exaggeration, you sure?"

I'm perfectly serious. I'm looking into the air, and I'm seeing pollution floating around. Smog, smoke, greenhouse gases all in one. Our world is a monstrous place that we don't recognise for what it is.

Gender Inequality is the closest issue to my heart that I can identify clearly. That's very close already. Women especially. They've been abused, stripped of rights and murdered ruthlessly. I'm not saying that men haven't been, but that's more man-to-man, not woman-to-man with the woman having an upper hand.

For starters, men are physically stronger. Some of the bad people out there, especially men, well... they take advantage of that. They force women to do their bidding, and when resistance comes along some of the cruelest beat them senseless, or kill them... it sounds awful? Well I'll think that it is. It's sexist, for one. More girls than men are having this problem. That means that more men are being abusive towards their children, wives or complete strangers.

Think about the Women's Rights Movement. Women and girls, all protesting. For their rights. Maybe it turned out like every other peaceful movement, with people getting thrown into jail, or worse, shot by violent police officers. Probably did. It's not like police are going to just stand there and cheer for the women. At least a few of them would drag the women and children away. Think about that. Just because you want something that you deserve, you get thrown in jail for who knows how long and maybe shot.

That. Is. Unfair.
