What students were accustomed to pre-pandemic schooling might no longer exist in post-pandemic classrooms. This school, I felt disconnected from my home school and there was a lack of interaction from their friends. I truly felt being on a deserted island all by ourselves and from time to time, a seagull flies by to say rummage in our land and leaves. 

In terms of curriculum, I also felt that OA was trying to be different from "real" school. We try to introduce a curriculum that was different from Stratford's curriculum and at the end of the day, we try to implement it to the OA curriculum.  This created much confusion for teachers and students.  Are we going to have a more refined curriculum that perhaps does not derive too far away from school? I believe that we are still on school just in different "classrooms". A well thought out plan before the next school year starts will make the year run smoother rather than fixing it as we go.
