In fact, you can buy a very cheap plane ticket, or you can buy it so expensive, depends on the airline. Finally, if the plane doesn't exist, you can't go to other countries so easily and you can enjoy being in the air and the luxurious airlines. To sum up / finally, planes are the safest transport in the world.

It´s quicker than the bus. You can drive when ever you want, it doesn´t have a specific hour, so it´s more confortable. 
Althought you have to be careful because you can have an accident if you´re distracted. Also you can´t go anywhere with the car.

Finally, you can move to other cities without transport that you have to pay, for example: taxi
You can do long travels if you want and not spend much money

All in all, there are lots of people who have phobia because of that.

I prefer cars than buses because if I try the bus I have to wait a very long time and thw car is faster but if you want to park your car in a place where there are many people it is difficul to have a parking.
Finally, I think the best option is the car because if you go to another cities and they are very far is better to use the car .
