On the map earthquakes of the last 2 years are displayed. The deepest earthquakes are located in the middle of the trench with a maximum depth of ~250 km (The red arrow).  
 
At the west end of the trench there is a zone of only shallow earthquakes. This represents the Bering-Kresta Shear zone that is a transform fault. There is also an inactive zone marked with the pink arrow. 
 
There is a clear line between earthquakes that happened on the subducting plate before it subducts and the ones that happened as part of the subduction.

Below are pictured certain volcanoes, represented by the volcano icon. They appear to mostly occur in areas where earthquake depths also fall between this range.
