Asturias is a perfect place to enjoy the nature, the tourism and the sea! Last summer I went there with my best friend to go hiking and have some fun visiting different cities and beaches there.

We went to Cangas de Onís, the place where we stayed for a week, in August. We went by car and the journey was great!

We go hiking everyday to different places. The first day we arrived to the hotel, we left our luggage and we went to Oviedo and Gijón. In the following days, we went to different beaches; we went hiking in Caín, Poncebos, Arenas de Cabrales, Ribadesella... We also went down the river Sella by canoe and we tasted "Cachopo"!

Finally, we returned home! In general, despite that nasty moment, I had a lot of fun! It was the best summer holidays I have ever had :)

My Holidays

Hi! My name is Manuel. I'm going to talk about my holidays.

In August I went with my family to Mazarrón, Murcia. I stayed there for about a month, then, after that month, I went to my village, which is located in Extremadura. I was there for about a week, with my parents and my uncle and my aunt.

In the village, a problem happened and it was a bit funny! We were on our way to the village to visit more family that was there , and suddenly a small bull appeared on the road. It did not let us pass, so we couldn't pass until he left that place and we were able to continue on our way.

After being in our town that week, my parents and I returned to Alcala and here in Alcala I spent some time with my friends! And this has been my holidays.

This summer I went to Oropesa del Mar, a town in Castellón 1 month

This summer, I went to Oropesa del Mar, a town in Castellón for 1 month. It was incredible!

I have been going to Oropesa since I was 3 months old and we have gone every year except last year because of the covid. Instead, we decided to go to France to stay there all the family together. 

The best moment of the summer was when Irene came to spend a week with me We had a great time even though our time outdoors were restricted by the government and we only could stay outdoors until 1.00 am
Some of my uncle and aunt’s friends from France also came. A very funny thing that happened to Irene and me is that my uncle and his friend started doing taichi with a stick and they 
Irene and me.

It has been a great summer! I had a great time!.

Granada is a beautiful city. Last summer I went there with my family to know and visit new places, and have a good holiday!.

We went to Granada, the place where we stayed for two weeks, in August.

We went by car and the journey was very good.

We visited different places everyday. The first day we arrived to the hotel, we left our luggage and we went to eat.

In the following days, we visited different sites in the city. We went to different museums, squares ... We ate in a typical restaurant and we tasted some typical food from Granada.

Finally after two weeks we went back home! Overall we had a great time and it was one of the best summer holidays I have ever had.

Last summer, I went camping with the Scouts to Guadarrama. We went for a week in July to a shelter that was huge. The shelter was on a really high mountain and it was so tiring to go to the village.

One day, we went hiking. We were like twenty people and it was amazing. I saw a lot of animals like cows, horses and bulls. When I saw the first bull, it was really far, but then I got scared because I found another one less than two meters away. I started to move slowly and he didn’t do anything.

That walk was amazing, but the worst thing was that on a slope I tripped on a cow poo and I stained my boots. Luckily, a monitor had wipes and I could clean at least my socks.

This camp was really fun ,and I enjoyed it a lot!

Hello! My name is Pablo., This summer, I went to Asturias and it was the best experience I have ever had.

In Asturias, and we stayed in a small town in the north of Asturias. On one of the first days, we went to a restaurant where they were super friendly. and They gave us food that was very tasty and they offered us a very traditional Asturian meal called cachopo.

The following day, my parents got up very early to buy us a great breakfast and I was very grateful. When my sister and I woke up we went hiking to several routes throughout Asturias. We went to some viewpoints that were so beautiful! that They were located in the south of Asturias. In the afternoon, we met with a friend from Alicante we had dinner with him/her at a fish restaurant. I loved that restaurant and I thanked them!

I really recommend this place! It’s such a nice place to visit!
