         <description><![CDATA[<div>I  have added the patient pamphlet I created for swallow strategies. The pamphlet quickly reviews each swallow strategy that was discussed in the chapter and explains how to complete them in a way that patients will better understand. I  also have a difficult time understanding how these strategies are done so I  will continue to refer back to this when working with patients in my externship who need swallow strategies. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I&nbsp; added this article because I&nbsp; thought it outlined the importance&nbsp;of understanding non-oral feeding and the commonality of within the dementia patient population. In this case, the patient's daughter ,an SLP, recognized abnormal feeding patterns, and eventually discovered the reason behind her feeding difficulties which saved her life potentially. This article shows that our role with the geriatric population, especially those with dementia, is important and we should work to become more aware of signs that could make our patients quality of life better. </div>]]></description>
