This is because of gravity pulling air towards the earth’s surface, and density because as altitude increases, the number of gas molecules decreases, making the air less dense. Climate can impact the air pressure of an altitude. Even if two places have the same altitude, their air pressures can vary due to the humidity. Gases at sea level are compressed due to the weight of the atmosphere above.</div>]]></description>
