Here is my reflection. 
What I wish I had known when I started teaching English is that not everything was content. So I think that my first advice for a new teacher would be that one. Do not focus on content: try to get your students expressing themselves at class and achieving an understanding (and production) of the language.

I believe that we should know our students. We should know their age, level, background as well as their interests, hobbies, and what they find fun or interesting. Then, we can apply this information in our lessons, homework, or games. This will engage them and make them feel heard, and seen.

I think the best tip for any teacher is to know that we don't know everything. Even after having a degree, there are still things to learn. We will continue learning everyday, even from our own students and we must allow ourselves to do so.
