Concept art can also be used to help film makers imagine what the film they are making should end up looking like at the end of production and to give the actors something they can act around to help them give an even more persuading performance. 

Concept art is also used to help car designers know what a car should look like once it has finally been built, this should allow the builders to be able to build a car that looks good and not so different from the final product.

It can also be used to help when designing products and vehicles for the military to allow soldiers and engineers to get used to the idea of what product is going to be made and used in either wartime or parades
