Hi, PhD student here from Michael’s Lab (CCBDR). I’m researching on a therapeutic intervention for stroke and the neurobiology behind all of it. I use an array of techniques for my projects such as flow cytometry, qpcr, RNA seq and immunohistochemistry.

I’m an avid soccer fan (on pitch and as a spectator), passionate about food/ cooking (not a very good baker though), and learning Japanese (doing a PhD has slowed my progress but I’m still going!!)

Outside of research, I’m often busy with my 2 kids (4 m and 4 y.o) or working. I often get asked how I manage my time, honestly, I have no idea myself. Perhaps, we just take things one step at a time.
