For example, people like Abraham Lincoln wanted to have a government ruled by the people, an ideal emphasized in the Declaration. Another person who was influenced by it was Martin Luther King Jr., because he wanted peace for everyone, which is another promise from the Declaration. Lastly President Barack Obama, was impacted by the Declaration because he wanted equality for all. </div>]]></description>

In Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech “I Have A Dream” he used lines in the speech to fight against racial injustice. Another person who was inspired by the Declaration of Independence was Elizabeth Cady Stanton. She wrote The Declaration of Sentiments to express her feelings of equality among people. Lastly Beyonce, an African American, female , expressed her feelings of rights for women and African American citizens through song.</div>]]></description>
