My name is Ms. Poston and I am SO excited to be part of the best first grade team! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. It's going to be a great year full of learning and new adventures and I can't wait to see what is in store for us. 
I was born in Ft. Worth and have been a product of HEB ISD. I attended Shady Brook Elementary, Bedford Junior High and graduated from L.D. Bell in 1983. I received my Bachelor of Science in EC-4 at Texas Women's University in Denton. 
I have been teaching for 14 years and first grade is my favorite of all!!! I am so blessed and honored that you have allowed me to spend the next 9 months with your precious babies. I promise to do my best and love them everyday.
I have a wonderful daughter who is starting her fourth year of teaching in Midland, Texas, a son that graduated from Texas Tech University in December and another son who lives and works in Dallas. My life is full!
