As the flowers are budding outside, we're using our tiny fingers to create a masterpiece. This activity requires paint or markers & a blank piece of paper(construction paper or regular printer paper).

If using paint, paint child's hand green and press hand against paper to hand paint your child's hand print. Wash hands with water and soap and choose three other color paint of your choice to dip your child's finger tip in paint to create dots about each finger on your hand print to create their own flowers.

If you don't have paint at home, please feel free to use a marker to trace your child's hand and use other color marker to let them freely scribble their own version of a sprouting flower above their handprint.

- Water 

Pull apart your cotton ball as if you're stretching it. Place your seeds in the stretched cotton and place it into your ziplock bag. If you're using paper towel, just fold it in half and place the seeds in the middle then place it in the bag. Add some water not too much, just enough to get the cotton or paper towel damp. - Construction paper or white printer paper

Cut your paper into a square small or big enough to fit around your toilet paper roll leaving some extra length to hang off the roll.

Glue or tape the paper to the roll. Mom or dad, please cut the extra length of the paper into eight to create the octopus legs. 

Use crayons to draw on the eyes and nose or even cut a piece of paper small enough to the tape it on to the octopus.
