I'am a mammal so i reproduce like all other mammals. A male and a female have sexual intercourse. Then the female gives birth to the youngand take care of them befoure they become adults.

We are insulated by thick hair, and our wide, fur-covered feet act as natural snowshoes. We have very powerful legs and are tremendous leapers, able to jump as far as 15 meters¡¡¡. Our long tails help

as for balance and as blankets to cover sensitive body parts against the severe mountain chill.We measure between 1.2 to 1.5 m ; tail, around 91 cm and weight from 27 to 54 kg.

My more comon prey is the blue sheep (bharal) of Tibet and the Himalaya, as well as the mountain ibex found over most of the rest of theirrange . As we are very powerful predators we can kill animals threetimes their weight, they also eat smaller fare, such as marmots, hares, and game birds. One friend specefecly an Indian snow leopard,protected and observed in a national park, is reported to haveconsumed five blue sheep, nine Tibetan woolly hares, twenty-fivemarmots, five domestic goats, one domestic sheep, and fifteen birds in a single year..Weeate a lot but he is going to become fat.

Of course about you the humans , the worst species of animal in the world , for me, but that's not the theme, ok we are in danger becouse the human kill as to do clothes whith our skin and we don't like it so much exactly, we hate it. Also you use our organs to preparemedicines.

My grand-father have told me that the first man to take a foto of a snowleopard was George Schaller, a photographer of National Geographic. This was at the begining of 70s of twenty century. He usually tells me that he still remember his smiling face whe he tooks the photo to my grand-father.

WHAT I AM AND WHERE I LIVE

I'am snow leopard mi scientific name is panthera uncia or uncia uncia but i am called. Ghost , why i am called Ghost , this is why , i live in very cold places, is it extremly dificult to see me becouse i have a very good camouflage and when you try see me i try not to see me, that's why i'm called Ghost exactly i am the Ghost of the mountains. You can say i'm rare, but i am a beautiful gray leopard, i live in the mountains of Central Asia (in the Himalaya) but some of my friends and family also live in other places like: Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, yes i now it, they are a lot of places. Normally over 3.000 and 5.000 m. over the see level in the Himalaya and tibetan plateau, but also as low as 600 min Rusia.
