Pollution is happening here through thermal pollution. That's where heated liquids are released into a body of water. This harms the ecosystem by affecting reproduction rates of species living here, as well as changing the chemical composition of the water. In aquatic environments, temperature is an extremely important factor, leading way to it being extremely sensitive to temperature change. Not only that, also affecting this ecosystem is oil spills and nutrient pollution (including sewage).
--Oops.

Found in areas along tropical coasts, these areas are home to a diverse series of organisms. These ecosystems consist of both land and water, with some organisms going between the two (such as the mudskipper). The salinity of the water is in the high twenties and thirties, categorizing the water into the polyhaline category. In this category the water is identified to be brackish; the polyhaline level is the highest level of brackishness.
