The total interviewees in each category numbered about 15. No statistics were reported, and no measure of variability of the responses was reported. For such a sample size statistical tests would have very little power. Accordingly I don’t believe this idea, that trust operates the same way across negotiation content , should be announced as a finding. Later writers may believe it and cite it when there’s really no evidence that it’s true. In the abstract the authors use the word “suggest”, but that’s easy to overlook when the abstract itself announces it as one of their findings. that victims and peacebuilders give to their activities.” That said, it would be helpful to
discuss how to more tractably identify these emotions when they are present. Is it
merely statements and words that external observers might notice? Other indicators?”
