Whether I would enjoy competition ,depends on the sport .If I was required to run in a race, chances are I wouldn't be too excited ;Running isn't exactly my cup of tea .But if you ask me to participate in a swimming competition my name would be the first on the list .As I am well -trained in swimming . Infact it has been the only sport I ever enjoyed playing since I was younger .Therefore A little competition never hurts .Moreover from my previous swimming competition i learned that great lessons are learnt from playing against stronger opponents. Also, when there is a match, competition, or prize to strive for, we have more motivation to train harder in order to be successful. Learn not to fear is also an added advantage i would say .failing can paralyse kids (and adults), stopping them from participating in many experiences life has to offer. I think that competition taught me that failure is a part of life it gives me courage, this new-found courage often carries over to other areas of their life.

ATQ) No, i would not enjoy participating in the competition shown in the video.
EX) Firstly, I do not like water sports at a competitive level, I find that playing water sports competitively is way more difficult than playing land sports competitively. I cant swim as efficiently and fast than those that swim competitively, I'm the type of person that would enjoy swimming casually. I would rather participate in land sports such as basketball, as i got a huge passion and interest towards it. Basketball is also my CCA and I do usually watch the NBA. The benefits or skills gained from playing basketball is much better than the benefits gained from swimming. For example, swimming is a individual sport while basketball is a team sport, the benefits that you cant gain from swimming is teamwork and communication skills, which is important for the future when you go out to society and work.
pov) other people might argue that swimming have better benefits than basketball, for example, swimming can improve posture for people that is suffering from Scoliosis.

Yes, i do think team sports are better at bringing out the best in a person. The first reason why is that the person can relax more in a team. The person ease up more as they can rely on their teammates even if they failed. They can also make friends with the team and form very strong bonds, supporting each other through the sport. For example, a team of basketball players i know can retrieve a rebounded ball and still score even if the shooter misses. At the end of their training, they would all walk home together talking about their day in school and troubles.

....(incomplete)

Yes, I would personally enjoy participating in a swimming competition.
I think competitions in general serve as a motivation to do better as it plays for human instinct to push yourself and be the best. For example, for the entirety of secondary two, I accidentally started a competition between me and my friend for getting good grades. As a result, I studied a little harder for each test and I found each study session to be vital. In the end, I managed to finish secondary two with 8 As. Thus I feel healthy competition is largely beneficial.

Another reason I would enjoy participating in a swimming competition is the act of swimming in itself. Swimming is an aerobic activity, which works your heart and lungs to make them stronger in the long run. Furthermore, swimming has been shown to boost people's mood and sleep better. Plus, swimming absolutely burns tons of calories.

However, some may detest the idea of swimming due to the sole risk of having a watery grave. Yes, more than 230000 drown a year, and I have had the displeasure of almost drowning at the beach one time. The idea of dying a horrible death is terrifying to some, and their fears must be respected.

From my own experience, I used to take swimming lessons regularly, every Saturday before COVID-19 hit. There, I learned the various strokes, freestyle, breaststroke, back stroke and butterfly, as well as how to use clothes as a floation device. My instructor also made us, his students, regularly race against eachother, which helped me gain a proficiency in the exercise. We also always practice water treading and floating in case we are in a situation to do so. I think I gained a lot from these lessons and I know how to traverse water better. I have gained a lot of water confidence.

All in all, I would seriously enjoy the notion of a swimming competition. I feel like my longer wingspan would help too. If given the opportunity and a time period to practice, I would wholeheartedly dive back into the swimming world.

in my opinion, i agree that team sports are better in bringing out the best in someone.
firstly, team sports foster the value of teamwork and enable people with a common goal to work together as a team to win a race or an event.
this brings out the value of teamwork in a person.
in my personal experience, being in the basketball cca for 4 years team has allowed me to work better with my teammates and has caused to grow and mature as a team player.

however, i can see why others may disagree as they may have social anxiety and not work well with others,
hindering their performance in the process as they are not confident.
furthermore, people may just enjoy being playing sports on their own as they feel more comfortable.

I would greatly enjoy participating in such a competition. I often believe that competition can be beneficial in one's life. Without competition, people who have been training rigorously would feel that there is no purpose in what they do and lose complete interest in that particular sport, participating in competitions fosters competitive-ness in a person, if dealt with healthily, it can help to develop perseverance in a person, and motivate them to keep going despite seemingly hitting rock bottom. It can even teach people to react smarter to critical circumstances and be able to effectively reach their goal with the least amount of time.
I feel that I would enjoy participating in competitions as it can allow people to gain recognition for their talents and gain confidence to continue to pursue what they enjoy doing. Based on my personal experience, I once attended a Red Cross competition, which consisted of me and my groupmates having to showcase the different types of bandaging we learnt and under a time limit to try to apply it by bandaging others. Initially I was very unconfident about my skills and thought that I would fail miserably during the competition, to my surprise, the training sessions paid off and we managed to land a high placing in the competition overall. Knowing that I did not drag the rest of my teammates down and performed relatively better than I expected, I slowly gained confidence in my skills and was determined to improve in future competitions to come.
Some may say that competition can bring about unnecessary stress into ones lifes, however I feel that if coped healthily, It can truly help in ones personal development and bring good prospects to their future
Therefore, I would enjoy partaking in such a competition

in my opinion, what we learn in schools are sufficient for life after school.
firstly, schools provide us with a basic foundation of knowledge in subjects such as mathematics, science, and english, which are all essential for daily life and in future studies.
secondly, schools also offer a conducive environment for students to develop social skills, teamwork, communication and problem solving skils.
lastly, In school, students also get exposed a wide range of subject, which allow them to explore their potential careers paths.
however, i can see how other people may disagree.
firstly, some may argue that school education soes not focus enough on practical life skills such as financial literacy or critical thinking.
secondly, there is a lack of personalized learning, classroom sertings may not cater to individual learning styles, leaving some students behind.
lastly. the world is rapidly changing and new problems are constantly emerging, schools may struggle to keep up with these changes
