         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Early Government: city-state, aristocratic Government. Only citizens owned land held office. Laws weren't written down<br>2. late 600 B.C non-aristocrats complained, laws were then written down, nobles and Metics became wealthy from trade, farmers grew poorer. More citizens sold into slavery. <br>3. Soon, man freed lots of slaves citizens and then changed the government by dividing all citizens into four groups based on wealth </div>]]></description>
