It starts off at him yelling at his wife to kicking people out his house and losing all his money to his friend. Right in the beginning of the story it starts out with Walter yelling at his wife over breakfast. "(Slams the table and jumps up)-DAMN MY EGGS-DAMN ALL THE EGGS THAT EVER WAS!" This shows how aggressive he is towards his family and just in general. As the story progresses he changes his ways and starts to care more for his family. I chose this piece of art to represent Walter because he gets angry and yells at his wife Ruth all the time. In this painting it shows and angry man yelling and raising his hand at his wife. I dont think Walter would ever try to hit her but he does yell at her all the time. this picture reminds me of two scenes the first in the beginning of the novel when he slammed the table and started yelling about the eggs and being broke. This poem relates to Walter having depression and him feeling like he let down his family. It talks about trying to give someone their happiness back and that is what Walter does when he buys them the house. It also talks about hope and that is when he let them down of having their dream house but he doesn't lose faith and still gets it for them anyway. In this song it s talking about how somebody is losing everything but still wants to know if they would still love them. Walter says "I mean we are very proud people" this support what i said about them being proud of who they are and what they are doing. Before Walter said this he was just going to take the money back and not buy the house but he realized that is not what his dad would have wanted and he didn't want to go down without a fight. He knew how much his family wanted that house and deserved that house which made him grateful to be a part of that family and how proud he is of his sister and son for what they did or are going to do.
