The biggest take away from the article was the importance of assessment and the correct way to assess. Students should understand how they are being assessed and how to be successful on an assessment by giving clear success criteria.

The area in which we would like to develop further is to give more meaningful/constructive feedback- meaning more task praised rather just "good jobs, etc". As well as giving the students clear next steps so they are able to take responsibility for their learning path and students will respond to feedback so teachers can ensure they understand their new targets/goals.

Our team can be supported by giving clear expectations of end of terms marking at start of term so we are able to plan accordingly. As well as model what they consider to be correct/effective feedback to students.
