One of the discussion questions is:
Why does Chin Yu Min accept help from the Ginger Cat but not from her neighbors.

Students could think about answering this question from the view point of Chin Yu Min and how she felt about her neighbors, or how she wanted to be portrayed in the views of her neighbors.
Students could also think through the point of view of the neighbors and why they were willing to offer assistance to Chin Yu Min regardless of the way she has acted throughout the story.
Students could also think through the point of view of the Ginger Cat and consider how the Ginger Cat's view of Chin Yu Min is different from the view that the villagers may have of Chin Yu Min and how this may influence Chin Yu Min to trust the Ginger Cat more.

Switch up the typical way exit tickets are used in math using the "which one is more right" approach. This can be done with lower grades using shapes and their attributes.
