The city was so well made that it didn't need anything to hold the blocks togethor because they each fit so well that it was perfect and still strong enough to take hit's form people. The people were hard workers and realigon followed them everywhere that was the thing they were most attached to. 
Religion  
Religion followed incas everywhere even to war It was looked down upon to kill men in war the main goal was to capture enemy's for sacrifice. Sacrifice's were done to repay the gods for creating them with their blood the inca's belived that if they did not do this the sun god would burn their crops and lose aginst the darkness. 
Culture 
The inca people's main god was the sun god.The sun god was thought to have been fighting the darkness to make sure it didnt take over.
