During "Think- Pair- Share" students will be given a question. They must first take time to think about their answer for a few seconds. Next, the students turn and pair up with someone. The two students then take turns sharing their answers. during this time the teacher can walk around the classroom and listen to the different feedback students are given to formatively assess where they are in their learning. Finally students will come together as a whole to share their thought after sharing their responses. This also serves as a chance to formatively assess the students and their understanding.

This formative assessment tool is used by teachers when they want to know the preferred learning style of their students (kinesthetic, visual, and auditory.) Students will answer questions that have to do with how they learn the best. After taking the assessment the teacher will be able to see if the students prefer to learn through visuals, audio, or hands on activities.

Students are to take a sheet of paper at the end of the lesson and write a summary about one key "take away" they had from that days lesson. while writing students have to make sure they stay within the word limit. Each word is worth 10 cents and the teacher gets to decide how much the students' limit is. if the limit is $1.50 students are to write a maximum of 15 words to summarize one thing they got out of the lesson

Kahoot is a website in which users can login to a class quiz. Students will enter a pin that allows them to view the questions on their devise live. When they decide what answer they want to choose they click on the corresponding shape and when everyone has finished a poll is shown to see how many people chose what answers. Kahoot can be used before introducing a topic to gage the students understanding of it. Based on the answers, the teacher can decide what are some areas that need to be given more attention to and areas are great for scaffolding.

This assessment can be used at the class tables, desk groups, or by individual students. The students are to use the cups to show how they feel about the content they are learning. if they understand everything they should be putting the green cup. If they have a question about what they are learning or they are a bit confused they are to show this by putting their yellow cup on top. Lastly, if the student feels completely lost on what they're doing they are to demonstrate this by using their red cup.

The second square is to write what they learned during the lesson. The third square is to write about what they want to learn about the topic, and the last section is for the students to tell you their favorite part of the lesson.

Nearpod can be accessed by students though any smart device. once they have logged into the presentation the teacher can do a live powerpoint slide that shows up both on the board and on the students device. Once the slides are done the students can engage in a game which lets them answer questions through their device to compete with other players for the highest points. The game can show the teachers what they need to go back over because it shows a poll of the classes answers.

While giving instruction the teacher can ask the students to show a quiet thumbs up if they understand what she is saying. If the students understand they put a thumbs up right in front of their chest to show the teacher if they understand. In the even that a student does not understand they should do the same but with a thumbs down. the teacher then should ask them what part if confusing them for clarification.
